Free Event – Come get your feet wet while seeing parts of Florida that most people haven’t explored! Learn about the wetlands of Lox Slough

REGISTRATION OPENS 7/22 @ 10AM

Come get your feet wet while seeing parts of Florida that most people haven’t explored. There are plenty of wildflowers, birds, and open scenery to see and enjoy.

This will be a 1-2 mile hike with ankle deep water in some locations. We recommend wearing long pants and closed-toed shoes. You may want to bring a towel and some dry clothes/shoes for after the hike.

We will have a water cooler but please bring a reusable water-bottle along with bug spray and sunscreen.

We will meet in the parking lot at 11855 Beeline Highway, Palm Beach Gardens.

Please, no pets or unsupervised minors.

WHAT TO BRING:

• Water bottle (and water)
• Hat and sunscreen
• Insect repellent
• Appropriate clothing (hat, hiking shoes/boots, long-sleeved shirts and pants for bugs)
